2. From rap I learned that a police helicopter is called a "ghetto bird."

3. From rap I learned that "with one and a half pair of pants you ain't cool."

4. From rap I learned where the streets Crenshaw and Slauson were.

5. From rap I learned about racism in film.

6. From rap I learned about an African American man who's name I've never heard was killed under suspicious circumstances in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.

7. From rap I learned that "a bird in the hand, is worth more than a Bush."

8. From rap I learned about misogyny in the black community.

9. From rap I learned about 9s, glocs and gats.

10. From rap I learned that the police kick the shit out of black males on a regular basis.

11. From rap I learned that when police divert traffic through South Central Los Angeles they refer to it as "Midtown."
